/p pWe are currently searching for a Senior Software Developer to join our international team in Rome and work on a tempo pieno, permanent position with a remote working style and excellent opportunities for career progress.
/p pThe Senior Software Developer is a key member of the ECLIPSE Product Development team, responsible not only for delivering high-quality software but also for providing technical leadership across the development lifecycle.
The role combines hands?on software engineering with solution design, mentoring, technical decision?making, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.
The Senior Software Developer works closely with Tech Leads, Product Owners, and stakeholders to shape the technical direction of the ECLIPSE suite of products.
/p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liLead the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of complex software features and components.
/li liDesign scalable, maintainable, and secure technical solutions aligned with product and architectural goals.
/li liTake ownership of significant functional areas, ensuring long?term quality and maintainability.
/li liReview code, establish coding standards, and promote engineering best practices.




/li liMentor and support other developers through coaching, pair programming, and technical guidance.
/li liCollaborate with Product Owners, Tech Leads, QA, and stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
/li liLead technical investigations, proof?of?concepts, and evaluation of new technologies and tools.
/li liIdentify and drive improvements to software architecture, development processes, CI/CD pipelines, testing, and automation.
/li liSupport troubleshooting of complex production issues and perform root cause analysis.
/li liContribute to technical roadmap planning and architectural discussions.
/li liParticipate in Agile ceremonies while helping improve estimation accuracy and delivery practices.
/li liContinuously expand technical expertise and share knowledge across the team.
/li /ul h3Profile /h3 ul liDegree in Computer Science or a related discipline.
/li liStrong Experience with: ul liJava/J2EE.
/li liSpring Boot, Spring, Hibernate.
/li liHTML, CSS, JavaScript.
/li liFront?end frameworks (Angular, jQuery or similar).
/li liOracle and/or PostgreSQL.
/li liGit, SVN, or other version control systems.
/li /ul /li liStrong understanding of software architecture,



design patterns, and enterprise application design.
/li liExperience mentoring developers and performing constructive code reviews /li liStrong problem?solving and analytical skills.
/li liAbility to influence technical decisions and collaborate across teams /li liExcellent written and spoken English.

/li liExperience with Struts Framework.
/li liMongoDB.

/li liDocker, Kubernetes, CI/CD.
