As a Senior Software Designer, you will play a leading role in designing and developing the software that powers Ericsson's licensing and entitlement capabilities.
You will work in an international environment, collaborating closely with a cross?functional?agile team to build scalable, secure and robust services that enable efficient license management and usage control across Ericsson products.
/p h3What you will do /h3 h3Architecture Design /h3 ul liDefine complete end?to?end cloud?native architectures that meet functional, performance and scalability requirements /li liAnalyze application footprint and assess resource consumption, infrastructure requirements and capacity sizing /li liDetermine scalability constraints and define appropriate sizing strategies for compute, storage and networking /li liDesign and document comprehensive cloud?native solutions, ensuring alignment with product and engineering standards /li /ul h3Engineering Delivery /h3 ul liAnalyze requirements and identify practical opportunities for software features and intelligent automation /li liDesign, implement and test cloud?native components, services and data pipelines /li liBuild and maintain containerized applications and CI/CD pipelines /li liIntegrate modern software capabilities, such as data processing, monitoring and automation tooling, where relevant to product needs /li liTroubleshoot complex issues, support integration activities and produce clear,



maintainable product documentation /li liContribute to product lifecycle activities and to the evolution of standards, guidelines and best practices /li liStay current with emerging technologies and proactively propose improvements to products and processes /li /ul h3Team Coordination /h3 ul liCoordinate and provide technical direction to a small team of software engineers supporting planning, prioritization and workload distribution /li liAct as a mentor and technical escalation point, promoting quality, consistency and growth within the team /li liCollaborate closely with product owners, software designers and cross?functional stakeholders /li /ul h3You will bring /h3 h3Experience Education /h3 ul liBachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience /li liMinimum of 5 years of experience in cloud?native software engineering or design roles /li liMinimum of 2 years of experience in team coordination or technical leadership /li /ul h3Technical Skills /h3 ul liStrong, proven experience in end?to?end cloud?native software design and architecture /li liDemonstrated ability to evaluate performance, scalability and capacity sizing for distributed systems /li liProficiency in performing footprint analysis to estimate compute,



storage and networking needs /li liStrong programming skills in Python, Go or Java, with familiarity in scripting languages such as Bash /li liSolid hands?on experience with cloud?native platforms and container technologies, including Kubernetes and Docker /li liDeep understanding of software design principles, distributed architecture patterns and object?oriented design /li liExperience with CI/CD tooling, automation frameworks and agile product development practices /li liPractical knowledge of AI/ML concepts; experience with model development, LLMs, retrieval?augmented generation or vector databases is a strong plus /li /ul h3Soft Skills /h3 ul liStrong analytical, planning and structured problem?solving skills /li liAbility to communicate technical topics clearly to both technical and non?technical audiences /li liCollaborative approach with a continuous learning mindset /li liComfortable working in a fast?paced, cross?functional and geographically diverse environment /li /ul h3Languages /h3 ul liFluent in English and Italian /li /ul pPrimary country and city: Italy (IT) – Pagani /p pReq ID: /p pStarting Salary in Primary Location: EUR 43,****** /p pThe position includes benefits and employment conditions in accordance with the Telecommunications National Collective Labour Agreement and Company?Union Agreements.
