Role Overview

The Buyer supports QVC Italy and will be responsible for sourcing, purchasing and merchandising a specific product range in a timely and efficient manner, in order to maximize the company’s net profit contribution.

Location & Work Arrangement

This role is hybrid and will require you to be onsite in Brugherio (MB) several days per month; onsite days are predetermined and standard across the company.

It is a full-time temporary contract for maternity cover.

Responsibilities

- Source, select, and secure a suitable range of products for QVC that fits the target market.
- Actively identify and secure new brands to expand QVC's portfolio, ensuring we move beyond the existing brand matrix.
- Negotiate the best possible prices and conditions.
- Work closely with the Planning team to review product performance, and to plan and grow the product range.
- Monitor inventory levels, taking accountability for the return-to-supplier process.
- Meet regularly with suppliers to review product performance.

Qualifications
- At least 2–3 years of experience as a fashion retail buyer.
- A degree in Economics or equivalent.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office,



especially Excel.
- Strong negotiation and sourcing skills.
- A proactive mindset, strong personal accountability and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate successfully across teams.
- Fluency in English and Italian.

Compensation and Benefits

Salary: 42.000,00 € - 33.600,00 €.
