Key Account Manager, South East Italy

As a field-based Key Account Manager for South-East Italy, you drive adoption of Oncotype DX by engaging hospitals and clinicians, building regional account plans aligned to the national brand. You operate autonomously to grow sales, differentiate our genomic testing in a competitive market, and demonstrate value to the National Health System. You collaborate with cross-functional teams to advance patient access and utilization, shaping regional strategy around breast cancer diagnostics.
- Pursue and achieve commercial objectives in collaboration with Sales Manager Italy
- Engage Oncology stakeholders in Italy, especially breast cancer, including surgeons, oncologists, and pathologists
- Provide logistical support to designated cancer centers to streamline Oncotype DX ordering
- Complete training on genomic testing and product knowledge; maintain disease-state understanding and knowledge of competitors
- Translate technical fluency into actions that drive patient access and product utilization
- Attend sales meetings and professional conferences; align messaging with sales and marketing
- Communicate feedback across national, regional, and area teams to support access and decision-making
- 5 years of sales experience promoting complex medical oncology/diagnostic products (breast cancer preferred)
- Experience with National Health System stakeholders and reimbursement processes
- Strong knowledge of KOLs in the region (Oncologists, xysqume Pathologists, procurement)
- Proven large territory and key account management skills
- Understanding of cancer care in the Italian public healthcare sector
- Excellent written and oral communication across all NHS levels
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking
- Self-starter autonomous in a smaller organization or division
- Willingness to travel 3-4 times per year to national meetings; possible international congresses
