NPDI Project Manager Products and Solutions - Engineering ManagerIn this role you will lead end-to-end NPDI-driven product development projects from inception to launch, coordinating global and regional initiatives within the Thermal Management business. You will guide cross-functional teams across Engineering, Product Management, Manufacturing and more to meet scope, schedule and cost targets. You’ll operate in a complex, international environment, driving continuous improvement and ensuring alignment with Vertiv’s strategic priorities. This is an opportunity to shape scalable, customer-focused solutions in a global company.Lead end-to-end project management for new product development and engineered-to-order customizationsEnsure adherence to the Corporate NPDI Process and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, resources and risksCoordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, operations, procurement, quality, logistics, marketing, sales and leadershipMonitor project progress, budget utilization and KPIs; report to stakeholders and senior managementIdentify and mitigate risks and issues affecting timelines,



scope or quality; implement recovery actionsFoster cross-functional collaboration and a culture of teamwork to meet aggressive deadlinesCollaborate with Product Management to define requirements and with Engineering to validate solutions within target costConduct post-launch analysis and feedback collection to drive iterative improvementsProvide resource planning input and align project objectives with company strategic prioritiesNavigate complex international relationships and communicate with stakeholders at multiple levelsDrive continuous improvement, innovation and efficiency in the product development processBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (Master degree preferred)Minimum 3 years' experience as a Project/Program Manager in a structured organizationUnderstanding of the product development lifecycle from concept to commercializationGood project management skills; PMP certification strongly preferredProficiency in MS Project and SmartsheetStrong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to influence at all levelsExcellent leadership and cross-functional team facilitationProblem-solving and proactive, solution-oriented mindsetWillingness to travel up to 20% (mainly Europe) and occasional in other regionsExperience in HVAC sector is preferredExperience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) is a plus
