MISSION
Ensure the effectiveness and efficiency of the area's processes and productive resources to fulfill the established manufacturing, quality, cost and safety goals.
GENERAL FUNCTIONS Supervise the activities carried out in the area in order to reach the targets defined each year for the manufacturing areas (Assembly, Injection, Painting, etc.). Monitor the effective fulfillment of manufacturing programs and define and ensure the implementation of specific action plans in order to fix any problems that may affect the section. Ensure production and quality policy standards are met. Define and implement the measures necessary to control costs, production and insurance of the processes data in different shifts. Report to the Production Manager, or the Plant Manager, regarding the main effectiveness and efficiency ratios in the area of responsibility. When there is no Production Manager, take part in the Plant Committee representing the section. Communicate lessons learned by participating in technical forums and fill out related database. Prepare the yearly budget for the section.
Observe Ficosa’s Code of Ethics to avoid fraudulent practices. Comply with Information Security Management System (ISMS) applicable to the job, along with the training related thereto. Lead the team, guaranteeing its effectiveness, development and motivation, fostering Ficosa's values. Provide the team with the necessary means to comply with OSHE rules, ensuring they are properly used. Actively cooperate in maintaining, promoting and improving the OSHE and Quality department.
