Our Center of Excellence "Implementation" is looking for a **Construction Manager**:
YOU ACT
- Initiates, coordinates, and controls all construction activities within the project to ensure in-time, in budget, and in-quality project execution for his function
- Communicates cross functional and provides all relevant information to the project core team, especially to the Project Manager and Project Supply Chain Manager, the Engineering Manager, and the Project Scheduler
- Specialist contact with responsibility for processing the construction work package during order execution for the site team
- Central project-related point of contact for the construction phase
- Contact person for optimizing and coordinating all matters relating to construction work package in consultation with the General Commissioning Manager
- Monitors compliance of contractors with the HSE plan, and escalates to the Project Manager in the event of significant non-conformity; sets out the arrangements for HSE and ensures that all requisite measures are implemented for site operation;
- Is responsible for the full and proper preparation of the construction work package;
- Responsibility for compliance with all legal and customer requirements in the planning and execution phase of a project with focus on safe construction site operation, considering also all relevant environmental aspects YOU KNOW
- Leadership to coordinate, manage and controls all construction activities.
- At least 3/5 years of professional experience in Site Management’s activity in the construction of steel processing plants;
- Knowledge in Site erection and commissioning activities management preferred for steel plants
- Very good written and spoken English
- Ability to work in a team and flexibility
- Willingness to travel worldwide
- Organizational skills, sense of responsibility and ability to work under pressure
- Open-mindedness towards new approaches and innovations
