Collaboration, accountability, and a pragmatic approach to problem solving are highly valued.DescriptionReporting directly to the Europe Accounting Manager, you will act as the accounting reference point for the Italian entity and support the finance organization in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.Main responsibilitiesManage month-end and year-end closing activitiesPrepare,
review and post journal entries, accruals, provisions and adjustmentsPerform General Ledger reconciliations and balance sheet reviewsAnalyze and reconcile Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable balancesSupport inventory accounting, cost accounting activities and variance analysisEnsure compliance with Italian accounting principles and statutory requirementsSupport VAT, tax reporting activities and interactions with external advisorsPrepare periodic financial reports for local and international stakeholdersCollaborate with auditors during statutory and group audit processesEnsure compliance with internal control procedures and SOX requirementsSupport US GAAP reporting and period-end reporting requirementsDrive continuous improvement initiatives across accounting processesPartner with Finance, Operations and local management to improve reporting quality and operational efficiencyParticipate in
