Founded in 1946 Fidia is a fully integrated Italian multinational company, with R&D;, Manufacturing, Marketing and Sales capabilities headquartered in Abano Terme. Fidia is prioritizing its R&D; efforts in areas with the greatest scientific and commercial promise, such as Joint Care, Skin Care, Aesthetic Care, Eye Care and Regenerative Care. With the aim of strengthening Fidia Farmaceutici’s production and research site of Noto (Sicily), we are looking for a **R&D; Expert** who will assist the senior scientist by setting up lab equipment, recording observations, collecting data, running tests, and interpreting results. He/she will operate microscopes, handle biological samples, and use systems like PCR, fermenters, UF systems, and others, ensuring precision and accuracy in scientific research. **Main Responsibilities**: - Performing complex research experiments in molecular biology, biochemistry, and chemistry.
- Handling fermentation, PCR, rt-PCR, DNA extraction and purification, and physicochemical characterizations.
- Developing and optimizing up-stream and down-stream processes.
- Analyzing and interpreting research data, designing experiment plans, writing reports.
- Conducting comprehensive desktop research using various sources including books, articles, and surveys.
- Anticipating and resolving research issues promptly. **Requirements**: - Scientific university studies (Biology,
Molecular biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, CTF) and PhD.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in research groups in public or private companies/laboratories/research institutes.
- Solid knowledge of molecular biology, chemistry (organic synthesis) and microbiology.
- Flexible approach, and openness to effective collaboration with colleagues.
- Good proficiency in using the Microsoft Office suite.
- Advanced level of English (C1). **Our offer**: - Inizial fixed-term contract of one year.
