This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Platform Engineer (P4) based in Italy.

This is a mid-senior platform engineering role focused on building reliable, scalable cloud environments that power data science and machine learning workflows.
You’ll design, automate, and evolve infrastructure used by global organizations working on complex, data-intensive projects.
The role combines hands-on cloud and infrastructure engineering with a strong consulting mindset and meaningful client interaction.
You’ll work primarily on one client engagement at a time, allowing you to develop deep technical context while occasionally contributing across other projects.
You’ll collaborate with engineers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to turn requirements into robust technical solutions and advise on architecture and best practices.
The position offers significant ownership, with opportunities to lead technical implementations and contribute to internal standards, documentation,



and engineering initiatives.

Accountabilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable cloud environments across AWS and Azure, with a primary focus on AWS.
- Develop and evolve reliable platform infrastructure supporting data science and machine learning workflows, including technologies such as Databricks and Posit.
- Automate development and deployment processes using modern CI/CD and DevOps tooling, including GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, ArgoCD, and GitLab CI.
- Define and manage Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform and Ansible to ensure infrastructure remains consistent, repeatable, and maintainable.
- Configure, operate, and optimize Kubernetes-based environments and Linux systems.
