Vacancy Information
As Cable Engineer, you will work on high voltage cable projects from route studies through to detailed underground cable connection designs.
You will operate independently within multidisciplinary projects for network operators and large commercial clients, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders while maintaining the technical quality of the design throughout.
You will serve as the primary technical point of contact for clients, internal colleagues, and external parties on all cable engineering activities. This includes coordinating with municipalities, water boards, provinces, and cable and pipeline owners to ensure a well-supported cable route. You will support the Technical Manager across all project phases from basic design through to detailed and execution design, reporting to the Engineering Team Leader.
Key Responsibilities
- Performing cable route studies and designing underground high voltage cable connections for HV substations and related infrastructure.
- Preparing or supervising the preparation of technical documentation including route drawings, wor
