Most HR Manager roles ask you to run an established function. This one asks you to build it.
Our client, a fast-growing international manufacturer with a strong sales presence across Europe, is scaling quickly, and its Italian HR function is still being built from the ground up. As HR Manager, you won't inherit a playbook: you'll write it. You'll build the local team, put real structure and processes in place, and become the trusted HR partner to the Italian management team, all while reporting into the VP HR EMEA and sitting on the EMEA HR Management Team.
What you'll do
- Build the Italian HR team and its foundational processes from scratch
- Partner with Italian leadership on talent, performance, and culture
- Own end-to-end recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations
- Manage compensation programs, including sales incentive schemes
- Ensure full compliance with Italian employment and labour law
What you'll bring
- 7+ years as an HR Manager, ideally with experience building or scaling an HR team
- Experience partnering with sales forces, ideally in a sales-driven or commercial organization
- Fluent Italian and English
- Strong grounding in Italian employment and labour law
- A builder's mindset: someone energized by structure that doesn't exist yet, not just structure that needs improving
