As we continue to grow, we are seeking an experienced
Indirect Procurement Category Manager
to join our dynamic team.
Scope of the role This position supports the VP of Indirect Procurement to manage the procurement activities related to indirect goods and services within Alfasigma organization. This role involves developing and implementing effective supplier and category strategies, negotiating with suppliers, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost-effective procurement processes. The Indirect Procurement Category Manager collaborates with various departments to understand their procurement needs and aligns procurement strategies to support the organization's overall goals and objectives.

ies.Monitor supplier performance, resolve issues, and implement improvement plans as necess
ent:Optimize costs by negotiating favorable terms and conditions with suppli
ers.Identify opportunities for cost savings and implement cost reduction initiatives without compromising quality or serv
ion:Collaborate with internal stakeholders (such as departments requiring indirect goods/services) to understand their needs and requireme
nts.Communicate procurement policies and procedures to internal teams,
ensuring compliance and understanding of best practi
ent:Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and company polic
ies.Identify and mitigate procurement-related risks, such as supply chain disruptions or supplier financial instabil
ent:Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, ensuring terms are favorable and in compliance with legal requireme
nts.Monitor contract performance, renew contracts as needed, and manage contract expiration and renewal proces
ing:Analyze procurement data to identify trends, track performance metrics, and prepare reports for managem
ent.Utilize data-driven insights to make informed decisions and improve procurement proces
Who you are
Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field
Proven experience in indirect procurement, preferably in a managerial role. Experience in pharma industry as a plus.
Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with supp
liers.In-depth knowledge of procurement best practices, contract management, and supplier evalu
ation.Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving s
kills.Proficiency in procurement software and
tools.Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards in procur
