ppThe project involves providing water supply from three sources for the purpose of treatment and injection to support production forecasts through ****.
The facility will process 1,400MBCD of water for injection to maintain the field's Maximum Sustainable Capability.
Additionally, there will be expansion of water facilities to accommodate surplus produced water.
/ph3Job Purpose /h3pThe Mechanical Specialist will be responsible for reviewing vendor technical evaluations and deviation lists from company standards for rotating equipment such as compressors, pumps, and gas turbines.
/ph3Key Responsibilities and Duties /h3ulliReview rotating equipment datasheets and supporting documentation.
/liliParticipate in technical clarification meetings with vendors.
/liliDesign and implement cost-effective equipment modifications to improve safety, reliability, and throughput.
/liliDevelop project specifications with colleagues from various engineering disciplines.
/liliDevelop, test, and evaluate theoretical designs.
/liliDiscuss and solve complex problems with manufacturing departments, sub-contractors, suppliers, and customers.
/liliManage projects using engineering principles and techniques.
/liliPlan and design new production processes.
/liliProduce details of specifications and outline designs.
/liliRecommend modifications following prototype test results.
/liliApply research, analytical, conceptual, and planning skills, including mathematical modeling and computer-aided design.
/liliConsider cost, safety, and time constraint implications.
/liliMonitor and commission plant and systems.
/li /ulh3Requirements /h3h3bEducational Technical Requirements: /b /h3ulliBachelor Degree in Engineering /lili***** years of experience in oil and gas or petrochemical projects /liliGood working knowledge of industry standards and procedures and international standards /liliProficient in English,



both written and verbal /liliAdvanced computer skills with MS-Office /li /ulh3bWith minimum 20 or more years of experience in: /b /h3ulliLeading pipeline discipline from detailed engineering to commissioning /liliDeveloping technical and purchase specifications, datasheets, and method statements /liliDeveloping non-metallic material specifications, datasheets, and procedures /liliGenerating drawings including route maps and alignment sheets using GIS data and survey maps /liliDesigning and engineering pipeline right-of-way, trenching, trenchless crossing, HDD using geotech surveys /liliPerforming technical assessment, qualification, and periodic audits of vendor facilities /liliLeading or participating in specialized incident investigation and failure analysis of pipelines /liliExperience from design to construction of non-metallic pipeline systems /liliAssessing technical, cost, and schedule impacts of engineering and field modification requests /liliPerforming Management of Change (MOC) and construction risk management /liliDeep knowledge of API 5L pipe requirements /liliEngineering and executing pipeline internal liners such as HDPE or PE-RT /liliAnalytical lifecycle management and regulatory compliance /liliConducting calculations for wall thickness, hydrodynamic stability, expansion loop layout, and thermal buckling using finite element analysis (FEA) software /liliFlow assurance, modeling multiphase thermodynamic mixed fluids /liliComprehensive knowledge of ILI tools and Cathodic Protection systems /liliComprehensive knowledge of API 6A and API 6D valves /liliPerforming stress analysis and surge analysis for pipeline and piping /liliWorking knowledge of piping layout design and piping engineering, including piping material specification development /liliReviewing piping engineering and vendor package design for standards compliance /liliExperience with industry standards, practices and procedures /liliStrong knowledge of ASME B31.4, ASME B31.3, API-579 /liliActive affiliation with professional societies such as IMechE, ASME, API, ISO is highly desirable /li /ul /p #J-*****-Ljbffr
