On behalf of a bmajor /b Client in the Oil Gas industry, we are seeking a highly experienced bCertification Engineer /b with a focus on bMarine Warranty Survey (MWS) /b for a strategic project in the Mediterranean.
/p h3Project Overview /h3 pThe successful candidate will join the bQA/QC /b team overseeing a high-profile project involving the construction of new bsealines /b and the brevamping /b of existing offshore platforms.
This is a long-term assignment based in bMilan (Home Office) /b, with a project duration extending through bDecember 31, **** /b.
/p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 pThe role focuses on the management of certification processes, technical document review, and coordination with Marine Warranty Surveyors to ensure all offshore and subsea assets are compliant: /p ul libCertification Management: /b Overseeing the certification life-cycle for subsea components and offshore structures, ensuring compliance with international standards and project specifications.
/li libMWS Coordination: /b Acting as the primary focal point for bMarine Warranty Survey (MWS) /b activities, ensuring all technical documentation required for "Certificates of Approval" is submitted, reviewed, and approved.
/li libDocument Supervision Review: /b Systematic review and validation of design reports, installation procedures, and "as-built" documentation from a certification and warranty perspective.
/li libQA/QC Compliance:
/b Ensuring that all procurement and construction activities meet the required quality standards and regulatory codes (e.g., DNV, API, ASME).
/li libTechnical Interface: /b Collaborating with Engineering and Marine Operations teams to resolve technical queries (TQs) and non-conformance reports (NCRs) related to certification.
/li libReporting Administration: /b Accurate management and compilation of project btimesheets /b, certification registries, and periodic QA/QC status reporting.
/li /ul h3Required Qualifications Skills /h3 ul libExperience: /b 10+ years of experience in Certification, QA/QC, or Marine Warranty roles within the bOil Gas /b sector, specifically for bOffshore and Subsea /b projects.
/li libTechnical Knowledge: /b Strong understanding of offshore installation procedures (pipeline laying, lifting, transportation) and the specific requirements of Marine Warranty Surveyors.
/li libCodes Standards: /b In-depth knowledge of international codes such as DNV (specifically DNV-ST-N001 for marine operations), API, and ISO.
/li libLanguages: /b Full professional proficiency in bEnglish /b (written and spoken) is mandatory; knowledge of Italian is a strong asset.
/li libSoft Skills: /b Meticulous attention to technical detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage complex certification dossiers in a corporate office environment.
