The Finance Manager will support the Executive Team and key stakeholders by providing high-quality financial management, reporting, and analysis within an international business environment. The role will play a critical part in ensuring transparency, accuracy, and insight in financial reporting, with a strong focus on shareholder reporting and performance analysis. The successful candidate will act as a trusted finance partner, delivering clear financial insights to senior leadership and supporting strategic decision-making across the organisation. They will also have deep knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, procedures within Chinese culture and protocol.
Conduct deep financial analysis to support business performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
Support the preparation of shareholder reporting materials, including board-level presentations and financial summaries.
Monitor financial performance, budgets, and forecasts, highlighting risks and opportunities.
Contribute to strategic planning through robust financial modelling and scenario analysis.
Support internal and external audits, ensuring full documentation and transparency.
Translate financial data and insights clearly for both English and Chinese-speaking stakeholders.
Minimum 4+ years of professional experience in finance within an international company.
Strong experience in financial reporting and analysis.
Proven experience in shareholder reporting and exposure to executive-level stakeholders.
Solid understanding of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes.
Fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin), both written and spoken.
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Business, Economics or related field.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools.
Highly analytical and detail-oriented with a strong commercial mindset.
Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and presenting financial results.
