Automation Engineer (relocation to the Netherlands)
We are looking for someone with experience as a PLC/SCADA Engineer within Industrial Automation to join our team. In this position, you will work on beautiful projects in logistics, food, manufacturing industry, chemistry, and pharma. Depending on your knowledge and skills, you will work on unique projects. We automate industry and we get energy from this through teamwork and setting clear goals.
As a PLC/SCADA engineer, you will work on challenging projects within Industrial Automation. You will convert customer requirements into functional technical designs, design, build, and implement software. Based on the functional design, you will configure IT software, test it in a physical test setup, and commission it at the customer's premises. Together with your team, you will ensure customer satisfaction and keep the industry moving.
What kind of experience are we looking for?
- Bachelor in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Industrial Automation;
- 5 years' experience in this position;
- Affinity with industrial automation;
- Knowledge of modern control systems and production environments;
- Knowledge of Siemens (PCS7), SCADA systems, and industrial networks (Profibus/Profinet);
- Fluency in Dutch and English;
- Accurate, practical, flexible, and a real team player;
- Experience in building, developing, and improving PLC programs, Ifix/HMI/WinCC software;
- Knowledge of ISA95 / ISA88 is a plus;
- Experience in .NET (C#, VB, ASP) / SQL is a plus.
