Project Manager – Fit Out/Refurbishment

Our client is a leading construction company specialising in luxurious and bespoke fit-out and refurbishment projects across Italy. Their portfolio includes prestigious residential, commercial, and hospitality spaces, demanding the highest standards of quality and an unwavering attention to detail.
Due to several new contract awards, they are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Project Manager to join their growing team. Based in Italy, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our high-end fit-out and refurbishment projects, from inception to handover.
The Role
- Manage the full project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for all project-related matters.
- Lead, motivate, and manage project teams, including site managers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Oversee quality control and ensure all work meets our exacting standards and client expectations.
- Conduct regular site visits and progress meetings.
The Person
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the fit-out and refurbishment construction sector.
- Demonstrable experience in high-end/luxury fit out and refurbishment projects is essential.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Based in Italy and eligible to work within the EU.
- Fluency in Italian is required.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken) as a second language would be a significant advantage.
