We are looking for a smart and skilled Java programmer to help develop our platform. You will work closely with other talented developers and tech consultants.
We are looking for a developer who can quickly adapt to the fast-paced and changing needs of a startup. We also expect this person to grow with the company, taking on more responsibilities as the business expands and the team gets bigger.

Access to crypto investments, trading, and person-to-person transactions is relatively easy today. However, this only serves a limited scope of needs for these currencies. Using crypto in everyday life, such as buying goods and services, is instead very limited.
Cryptorefills is a website and app that enables users in over 180 countries and territories to spend crypto, including Bitcoin,
stablecoins like USDC and USDT, and other digital currencies yet to come. With Cryptorefills, users can recharge their mobile phones, purchase gift cards from top brands like Netflix, Spotify, Google Play, and Apple, and even book flights and hotels directly using crypto.
The Company is a fast-growing fintech firm headquartered in Amsterdam, with a local presence in Milano and Izmir.
Base requirements
- Profound knowledge of Java and a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming.
- Capability to write clean, understandable, and well-tested code, incorporating patterns and best practices, TDD (Test-Driven Development), and dependency management.
- Deep understanding of HTTP standards.
- Free from NIH syndrome. (not invented here syndrome)
Key requirements, experience with
- MongoDB.
- PlayFramework and akka actors.
- Asynchronous programming using CompletableFuture and reactive programming with rxJava.
- Docker containers.
- AWS platform.
