Jumeirah Capri Palace is hiring through Hosco in Anacapri. An opportunity has arisen for a Sommelierto join Jumeirah Capri Palace. The person covering this role will learn and support the maintenance department in the following tasks:

Embrace the Heart of Jumeirah ethos to uphold the brand's values and standards in all aspects of wine service.
Demonstrate excellent knowledge of various types of wines, wineries, and wine regions to provide informed recommendations to guests.
Take charge of creating and updating wine menus, as well as managing the wine cellar to ensure a diverse and high-quality selection.
Utilize strong knowledge of food and wine beverage pairings to enhance guests' dining experiences.
Supervise wine service and collaborate with winemakers to continually upgrade wine selections and offerings.
Interact with guests across F&B; outlets to assist with their wine choices and enhance their overall experience.
Host wine and champagne dinners,
wine tasting events, and other activities to drive revenue and promote wine culture.
Conduct comprehensive wine training sessions for staff to ensure they possess the necessary knowledge and skills.
Manage relationships with wine suppliers, negotiate contracts, and create wine lists that align with the establishment's standards and objectives.
Ensure adherence to beverage protocols, maintain compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, and prioritize customer satisfaction through efficient and high-quality beverage services, resolving any customer complaints promptly and effectively. xysqume The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
3 - 5 years in wine service and beverage operations
College Degree in Hospitality or Culinary Institute from an accredited College
