Position Summary
Ensure the successful design, planning, implementation, installation, testing, start-up, ramp up and handover of major capital investment projects on the manufacturing site, following safety standards, projects charters, design specifications, ways of working & success criteria.
Duties
- Logistics Automation Oversight: Provide expert technical assistance during the execution, commissioning, and operation of automated warehouse systems, ensuring seamless integration with manufacturing and alignment with quality standards
- Meet quality expectations. In the event of a quality problem, rectify it and inform the responsible manager and involve him/her in the rectification of the problem with immediate actions.
- Carry out all duties in strict compliance with Product Safety, Environmental Management, Occupational Health,



and Safety documents, with a specific focus on equipment safety.
- Drive operational eiciency by applying Lean engineering principles to eliminate waste and optimize material flow within automated systems.
- Carry out the duties specified for the post holder in the Product Safety, Environmental Management, Occupational Health and Safety and Quality Management System documents.
- Actively oversee and manage project budget, tracking expenditures to ensure major capital automation projects are delivered cost-eectively.
- Agile Problem Solving: Thrive in a fast-paced environment by thinking outside the box to immediately troubleshoot, rectify, and escape any technical or operational bottlenecks affecting the project.
