Overview
FCM (Factory Cost Management) team works as finance and controlling partner at Beontag, giving important information to help other departments to make decisions, create KPI’s and follow results. Our team drives processes and good practices throught the sites, aligned with Beontag’s goals referred to costs and expenses defined in budget.
We are looking for an intern to join Beontag and be part of a global company that values learning and cultural exchange. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, gaining exposure across departments and hierarchical levels. Together we will develop strategic reports, create and monitor processes, manage cost controls in production and warehouse environments, support internal and external audits, and follow inventory counting.
Responsibilities
- Support the review of production orders to help identify discrepancies, errors, and opportunities to improve processes.
- Assist in analyzing monthly inventory reports to help identify variations and trends.
- Collaborate with the team in cycle count activities to help verify deviations and support process improvements.
- Support the monitoring of factory costs throughout the month, assisting in the correct allocation of costs by account and cost center, and helping to identify deviations and cost-saving opportunities.
- Support external audits by assisting with the preparation and provision of requested data and information.
- Assist in preparing reports, such as actual vs. budget analysis and operational and strategic KPIs for different levels of the organization, with guidance from the team.
- Provide support to other departments by sharing information to help track KPIs, with strong interaction across areas such as production, engineering, and quality.
- Participate in the annual budget process by supporting data collection related to material costs, overhead, and other plant details.
Qualifications
- Office Suite - Mainly excel.
- Basic Accounting and Finance knowledge.
- Proficient in English to report to Brazil.
- Good communication skills to speak to other departments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic knowledge about ERP Navision.
- Basic knowledge about costs and production.
Location
This role will be based at our plant in Bologna, Castel Maggiore.
