City Explorer is a global livestreaming platform connecting viewers with authentic cities, cultures and everyday experiences in real time.
About the Role
We are looking for students and recent graduates living in Rome who want practical experience in livestream production, mobile filmmaking, digital storytelling and international media. As a Content Creator Intern, you will explore your city on foot, by bicycle, car or motorbike while livestreaming interesting streets, neighbourhoods, markets, landmarks, food areas, cultural locations and everyday local life. No previous livestreaming experience or social-media following is required. You do not need to show your face, and speaking during the livestream is optional.
Responsibilities
- Plan interesting and safe livestreaming routes around Rome
- Livestream streets, neighbourhoods and authentic local experiences
- Complete at least 10 hours of livestreaming per week
- Maintain a dependable weekly routine
- Use a smartphone or City Explorer-provided equipment
- Follow City Explorer’s safety, privacy and content guidelines
- Communicate regularly with your assigned coach
- Apply feedback to improve the quality of your livestreams
- Represent your city professionally and respectfully
Qualifications
- Currently live in or near Rome
- Be available for at least 10 hours per week
- Be prepared to commit for a minimum of six months
- Have a smartphone suitable for livestreaming
- Be dependable and responsive
- Be comfortable spending time outdoors
- Have basic conversational English
- Be willing to receive coaching and follow operational guidelines
- Have a valid licence and legal access to a vehicle if applying to livestream by car or motorbike

Pay range and compensation package
This is an unpaid internship. City Explorer does not provide a salary or monthly stipend. However, reasonable pre-approved local transport expenses and mobile-data costs required for official livestreaming activities will be covered. Equipment, training, coaching and operational support are provided without charge.
