Senior Director R&D; Portfolio and Program ManagementAs Senior Director, you will lead the CP R&D; portfolio and PMO, guiding capital equipment programs and product development. You’ll shape governance, prioritization, and resource planning across global teams, driving on-time delivery within budgets and regulatory timelines. You’ll chair the Portfolio Review Committee and partner with CP leadership to optimize portfolio trade-offs and investments. and standardized practicesDevelop executive dashboards and decision materials showing milestones, budget, resources, risks, and dependenciesPartner with cross-functional leaders to evaluate trade-offs, resource constraints, investment priorities, and sequencingMonitor budgets and resources, providing financial reporting and risk insights to CP R&D; leadershipFacilitate stakeholder alignment through clear communication and regular updatesEnsure regulatory and quality alignment with ISO 13485, EU MDR, CE marking and design controlsDrive process improvement using lean methods and design thinking across the maturity curveLead continuous improvement efforts to raise process maturity across functional areasExtensive experience leading complex R&D; programs and PMO functions in MedTech or regulated industriesProven track record managing large-scale NPD/NPI programs in a global, matrixed environmentSenior people leadership for Director-level project leaders with performance coachingBroad technical knowledge in medical technology, including design controls and ISO 14971 risk managementAbility to synthesize business, technical, regulatory, and operational factors across large programsKnowledge of EU MDR, CE Marking, ISO 13485; regulatory sensitivity is preferredExperience with portfolio governance, capacity planning, executive dashboards, and trade-off recommendationsBS in engineering, science, business, technology or equivalent; PMP or similar certification preferredTravel approx. 30% to Europe and global sites
