Job Description:DXC Technology is looking for a Database Administrator Expert to join the Cloud & Infrastructure team.ResponsibilitiesProven experience in operational management and performance tuning of databases, with end-to-end technical ownership of the database environment, from design to implementationStrong skills in backup/restore strategies and service continuity supportAbility to monitor and troubleshoot performance issues, including the resolution of complex technical problems on database systems and platformsExperience collaborating with infrastructure teams for application integration, and direct interface with clients and technical teams for requirements gathering and solution validationTechnical guidance and support for junior/mid team members, contributing to the definition of technical standards and best practices within the teamAvailability to contribute to the hiring process through technical assessments during interviewsWe RequireTeam player mindset and ability to manage tasks and priorities independently, with strong problem-solving skills and effective communication with clients and technical teamsOracle (Standalone and RAC)Oracle Golden GateOracle DataGuardMySQLMongoDB,Cassandra,PostgresqlExperience with Generative AI tools is a plusLocation: Rome with lavoro da remoto possibilityWhy Join UsThe position offers a gross annual base salary starting from €40.000.Compensation is determined in line with the applicable collective labor agreement (CBA: Contratto Collettivo Nazionale di Lavoro per l'industria metalmeccanica e della installazione di impianti) and based on objective and gender-neutral criteria, including responsibility,
