Global Packaging R&D; Engineer is responsible for the development, optimization, and industrialization of innovative, compliant, and sustainable packaging solutions across global markets.
Key Responsibilities and Activities
- Design, develop, and qualify primary, secondary, and tertiary packaging solutions.
- Lead packaging innovation projects aligned with brand, sustainability, and consumer needs.
- Translate marketing, technical,



and supply requirements into robust packaging specifications.
- Keep up to date with technological innovations and develop new packaging innovations that unlock new areas of opportunity for Campari Group.
- Support pilot trials, line trials, and global roll-outs from concept to mass production.
- Collaborate with manufacturing plants to ensure packaging compatibility with filling, labeling, and logistics processes.
- Integrate sustainability principles, including recyclability, lightweighting, and material reduction.
- Collaborate with sustainability team to meet corporate and regulatory targets.
- Work closely with procurement teams and global packaging suppliers on technical development and cost optimization.
- Support supplier qualification, benchmarking, and innovation scouting.
- Develop and maintain global packaging specifications, standards, and guidelines.
