About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Android Developer with strong, hands-on Kotlin experience to join the team.
The role requires someone with recent experience building and maintaining production-level Android applications. The successful candidate will be involved in developing new features, improving existing functionality, resolving technical issues and working closely with engineering and product teams.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain production-level Android applications using Kotlin.
- Build and deliver new features and functionality across the Android application.
- Improve and maintain existing features to ensure high quality and performance.
- Identify, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues and bugs.
- Work with APIs and backend services to integrate application functionality.
- Contribute to application architecture and technical decisions.
- Write and maintain automated tests.
- Monitor and improve application performance, stability and reliability.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, product and other technical teams.
- Take ownership of development tasks throughout the full lifecycle, from development through to production.
Requirements:
- Strong professional experience as an Android Developer.
- Strong, hands-on and recent experience with Kotlin.
- Proven experience building and maintaining production-level Android applications.
- Strong knowledge of the Android SDK.
- Experience with modern Android development practices.
- Experience with Jetpack and/or Jetpack Compose.
- Good understanding of APIs and application integration.
- Experience with architecture patterns such as MVVM or Clean Architecture.
- Understanding of testing, performance and application stability.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Comfortable working collaboratively within engineering and product teams.
- Willingness to work from the Milan office for the first three months
- Comfortable working on a B2B contract basis.
