RINA is currently recruiting for a Railway Field Laboratory Junior Assessor to join its office in Firenze, Italy within the Transport & Infrastructure Certification Division.
Mission
As a Railway Field Laboratory Junior Assessor at RINA Services S.p.A., you will be integral to advancing the quality and reliability of railway component testing. Your mission will focus on supporting mechanical tests in the field, contributing to the development of innovative testing methods while ensuring strict compliance with ISO 17025 accreditation standards. This role offers an excellent opportunity to deepen your expertise in railway certification and play a pivotal part in maintaining safety and performance standards within the transport and infrastructure sector.
Key Accountabilities
- Assessment & Validation Activities: Support senior assessors in the execution of railway assessment, inspection, verification, and validation activities, ensuring compliance with internal procedures, accreditation requirements, applicable regulations, and industry standards.




- Project Delivery & Quality Assurance: Contribute to the delivery of assigned project activities, ensuring that work is completed on schedule, within scope, and in accordance with established quality requirements.
- Technical Project Support: Collaborate with multidisciplinary project teams to achieve project objectives, applying structured analytical and problem-solving approaches to support efficient and effective execution.
- Compliance & Conformity Assessment: Perform reviews, inspections, and technical evaluations in line with accreditation schemes, regulatory frameworks, and railway sector requirements, supporting continuous improvement and compliance management.
- Technical Knowledge Sharing: Contribute to the development and dissemination of technical expertise by documenting findings, participating in training initiatives, and promoting best practices within the Railway Field Laboratory and wider organization.
