By applying for this position, you will have the opportunity to join a European AgTech leader specializing in connected agro-meteorological solutions, backed by a major agricultural technology group generating 370M€ in revenue.
They are looking for a
Business Developer
to structure and expand their agricultural distribution network across Italy, targeting cooperatives, agricultural retailers, and growers' associations.
The objective is to open new accounts and integrate their connected weather stations and decision-support tools (DSS) directly into the services offered to farmers.
Your Missions
- Identify and prospect agricultural cooperatives, retailers, agro-industrials, and growers' associations across Italy (North and South)
- Build a structured prospecting plan by production region and crop type, prioritizing high-potential network deployment structures
- Conduct discovery meetings, present the combined value proposition (weather data, DSS, satellite imagery), and negotiate commercial terms through to closing
- Achieve targets for new account acquisition and station deployment, with monthly reporting to the Sales Direction
- Support onboarded distributors in operational rollout, including training field teams and activating farmer members
- Train distributor advisors and technicians on the usage of the platform
