The
Branch Finance & Tax Specialist
plays a key role in the financial governance of the Branch, with full responsibility for accounting processes, tax compliance, and statutory obligations.

The role combines
hands-on technical expertise
with
end-to-end ownership
, acting as the main financial counterpart for Finance HQ, the Group Tax Department, and local operational teams.

This position offers strong exposure to
international accounting and VAT matters
within a truly multinational environment, with
regular interaction with colleagues and external advisors across different jurisdictions
.

In addition, the role provides
direct visibility and interaction with the Tax & Accounting Director
, with the opportunity to be involved in
strategic and cross-border projects
, contributing to the evolution of the Group’s finance and tax framework.

Job Responsibilities
Accounting Management
- Ensure end-to-end supervision of general and analytical accounting activities for the Branch.
- Control and record incoming and outgoing invoices,



ensuring correct VAT setup and compliance with multi-branch/multi-VAT structures.
- Perform bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, and balance sheet controls.
- Support and coordinate closing activities (monthly, quarterly, yearly) in collaboration with HQ Administration.
- Oversee documentation related to intra-branch and intra-EU flows (e.g., shipping documents, CMR, proof of transport).

Tax Compliance
- Act as first-line owner of tax compliance, ensuring full accuracy, timeliness, and audit readiness.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns and Intrastat declarations in line with local requirements.
- Monitor deadlines and ensure effective internal controls.
- Support internal/external audits and interact with tax authorities where needed.
- Coordinate with external tax advisors across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring alignment on local compliance topics.

International Coordination & Projects
