Product Quality Engineer
to join our dynamic team in
Piove di Sacco (PD), Italy
The Product Quality Engineer acts as the vital link between field performance and product evolution. The role leverages real-world data, lessons learned, customer feedback, warranty information, and reliability analysis to improve product quality, manufacturing performance, and future product designs. The position leads structured problem-solving activities, drives robust Root Cause Analysis (RCA),
and ensures corrective actions are effectively implemented to improve customer satisfaction and product reliability.
What kind of work will you be doing?
- Analyze field, warranty, and customer quality data to identify performance trends, recurring failures, and improvement opportunities.
- Lead and facilitate 8D investigations for customer complaints, field failures, warranty claims, and recurring quality issues.
- Drive robust Root Cause Analysis utilizing 5 Why, Fishbone, Is/Is Not, Fault Tree Analysis, Kepner-Tregoe, and other structured methodologies.
- Coordinate containment, correction, corrective action, and preventive action activities across Engineering, Manufacturing, Suppliers, and Service.
- Validate root causes through testing, inspection, statistical analysis, and engineering evidence.
- Verify effectiveness of corrective actions and ensure sustainable implementation.
- Interface with factories to drive manufacturing improvements and deployment of lessons
