Agentic AI Expert - Model-Based EngineeringContract: Full-time leased workerWorking Pattern: Fully onsiteThe OpportunityWe are looking for an Agentic AI Expert to join an innovative R&D; team developing next-generation Model-Based Engineering (MBE) and Model-Based Design (MBD) tools.The role sits at the intersection of AI, software engineering and model-based engineering, with a strong focus on integrating the latest agentic AI technologies into existing engineering tools.You will work as a System Engineer, helping evolve proprietary MBD platforms through AI-assisted simulation, code generation, diagram generation and automated testing.You will join a highly collaborative team of engineers, researchers and PhDs working on advanced technology projects across digital power, electric vehicles and next-generation engineering solutions.What You'll Be DoingDrive the evolution of proprietary MBD tools towards AI-assisted engineeringIntegrate agentic AI technologies into existing engineering productsDevelop AI-powered approaches for simulation, code and test generationDesign and implement efficient multi-agent AI architecturesBuild and integrate RAG, orchestration and tool-calling capabilitiesWork with AI coding agents and modern LLM development frameworksDevelop solutions using OpenAI APIs, MCP servers and tool callingAnalyse and optimise complex distributed LLM pipelinesImprove latency, scalability and token efficiencySupport large-scale and efficient simulation workflowsContribute to automated regression testing and validationWork across AI,
software and model-based engineering disciplinesCollaborate with researchers and engineering teams to turn emerging AI technologies into practical product capabilitiesThe key focus is on bringing agentic AI into engineering workflows and creating tools that can intelligently assist with modelling, simulation, coding and testing.Technical ExperienceWe are looking for strong hands-on experience across AI/LLM engineering and software development, particularly:Excellent Python and Java programming skillsAI frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, Docling, PyTorch or similarHands-on experience with AI coding agents, such as Claude Code, OpenCode, Codex or equivalentOpenAI APIMCP serversTool calling and function callingAgentic AI patterns and architecturesMulti-agent systemsRAG and AI orchestrationIntegration of AI capabilities into existing software productsDistributed AI systemsToken and latency optimisationSoftware testing and particularly regression testingModel-Based Engineering concepts such as UML, Simulink and StateflowIdeally, you will have:M.Sc. in Engineering,
