RINA is currently recruiting for a Leghorn Marine Surveyor to join its office in Livorno within the Mediterranean and Africa Marine Division.

MissionThe intermediate Surveyor is to contribute to the organization's commitment to maritime safety, compliance, and excellence by applying knowledge of Rules, Regulations, and industry principles. The intermediate Surveyor supports the surveying team in performing routine inspections, maintaining accurate documentation, and staying informed about evolving industry practices.
Key Accountabilities
- Professional Application: Acts as a professional specialist, applying knowledge of rules, regulations, and industry concepts within the organization's framework.
- Inspection and Reporting: Conducts routine surveys on classed ships, platforms, or marine structures for compliance with classification and statutory requirements, following the guidance and supervision of a Surveyor, Senior Surveyor, or Principal Surveyor.



Prepares technically accurate and timely reports of inspections and surveys.
- File Maintenance: Maintains survey files in an orderly and up-to-date manner within the assigned area of responsibility.
- Continuous Learning: Maintains an active awareness of new working methods and developments affecting the technical scope of assigned responsibilities. Engages in ongoing learning to enhance knowledge and skills relevant to surveying practices.
- Problem-Solving: Recommends new approaches to problems encountered, seeking guidance and supervision from more experienced surveyors.
- Collaboration and Guidance: Collaborates with and seeks guidance from more experienced surveyors to ensure accurate and effective survey outcomes. Participates in team activities and contributes to a collaborative work environment.
