**CSA Construction Manager - Hyperscale Data Centers** **Location**:Milan, Italy **Reports to**:Lead Construction Manager **Company**:A globally recognized engineering and construction firm with decades of experience delivering complex infrastructure projects. With offices in over 30 countries, the company has recently launched a dedicated Data Center business unit to support the growing demand for hyperscale facilities. Combining technical excellence with an innovative approach, they offer end-to-end solutions, ensuring efficiency, quality, and reliability in every project. **Role Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
**Project Management & Execution**: - Lead the execution of CSA construction works, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
- Serve as the primary interface between the client, subcontractors, and internal project teams.
- Monitor construction progress, conducting regular site inspections and meetings.
- Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to prevent project delays.
- Support the selection and procurement of CSA subcontractors.
- Oversee project documentation, approvals, and regulatory compliance.
- Implement and oversee Last Planner® (production planning) methodology onsite. **Financial & Contractual Oversight**: - Maintain project budgets, ensuring cost control and financial efficiency.
- Manage subcontractor payments, invoicing, and financial reporting.
- Ensure proper change control management, including negotiation of contract amendments and variations.
- Provide accurate project status updates to stakeholders. **Technical & Regulatory Compliance**: - Define and optimize construction methodologies to improve efficiency and quality.
- Review and approve technical submittals, RFIs, and execution plans.
- Ensure compliance with national and international construction regulations.




- Contribute to the generation and understanding of scope of work documents for CSA packages.
- Support project close-out activities, including snag resolution, commissioning, and final handover. **Team Leadership & Development**: - Supervise and mentor junior construction staff, fostering professional growth.
- Drive teamwork, collaboration, and knowledge-sharing across project teams.
- Promote a "right first time" approach in construction execution. **Qualifications & Experience**: - **Bachelor’s degree**in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
- Minimum **5 years of construction experience**with a strong CSA background.
- Proven experience managing large-scale data center, high-tech, oil & gas, or pharmaceutical construction projects.
- Fluent in **English and Italian**(both written and spoken).
- Strong commitment to **Health & Safety**principles.
- Ability to operate effectively in both an office and site environment with a "boots on the ground" approach.
