Offer Description
The MUR-funded research fellowship focuses on studying the nervous system and associated immune cells in Botryllus schlosseri.Main activities include:Sample management: breeding colonies, harvesting,



and dissecting nervous tissues.Molecular analysis: RNA extraction, RT-PCR, in situ hybridization, and gene expression alteration (silencing, knock-down, transfection).Bioinformatics & imaging: transcriptomic analysis of candidate genes and confocal microscopy for cellular morphological analysis.Documentation: data processing, drafting scientific reports or manuscripts, and weekly progress monitoring.
