At ADAMA, we are focused on creating simplicity in agriculture – helping farmers grow. As part of our continued focus on commercial effectiveness and growth, we are looking for a Commercial Excellence Lead to strengthen our commercial capabilities in Italy.
This is a highly collaborative role, working across Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain and Leadership to turn data and market insights into better decisions, stronger execution and measurable commercial impact.
What You Will Do
- Lead the Commercial WinRoom / S&OP; process, bringing teams together around a single view of business performance, risks and opportunities.
- Improve forecast accuracy, inventory visibility and commercial decision-making.
- Identify and prioritise high-value customers, territories and crop opportunities, helping sales teams focus resources where they can have the greatest impact.
- Develop fact-based customer and territory targeting models and segmentation.
- Turn Salesforce/CRM data into actionable commercial insights, improving CRM adoption and field-force productivity.
- Develop dashboards,
KPI scorecards and reporting to provide clear visibility of sell-in, sell-out, channel inventory and commercial performance.Track commercial initiatives and campaign ROI, identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Partner with commercial leaders to translate insights into clear actions and measurable results.
What You Will Bring
- A commercial background within the agricultural inputs, crop protection or agricultural distribution sector.
- At least 5 years of relevant commercial experience.
- Bachelor's degree, ideally in Agronomy, Agricultural Engineering, Plant Sciences or a related discipline.
- Strong analytical, forecasting and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience working with CRM data, commercial KPIs and performance reporting.
- Strong project management and organisational skills, with the ability to turn analysis into action.
- Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills.
- A collaborative, results-oriented mindset with the confidence to challenge and influence across functions.
- Fluent English, written and spoken, with Italian language capability expected for the local market.
