The Main Event: What you'll do As part of our expansion into Italy, we are looking for a highly hands-on, technically curious operator to join our Italy team as one of the founding members of our Mortgages vertical in the country.

This is a rare opportunity to help build something from the ground up, working closely with our General Manager in Mortgages and our local team on the ground. This role sits at the intersection of business and technology: you'll turn ambiguous operational challenges into scalable, automated processes that support our growth in Italy.

Turn Strategy into Execution

- Translate strategic business priorities into clear, scalable operational processes.
- Break down ambiguous business problems into structured workflows, requirements and action plans.
- Design processes that can scale as the company grows across teams and markets.
- Work closely with leadership to turn high-level objectives into measurable operational initiatives.
- Own projects from problem definition through implementation, measurement and iteration.

Build & Automate Processes

- Identify repetitive,



manual or inefficient workflows and redesign them using automation and technology.
- Build and maintain workflows using tools such as n8n, Make or Zapier.
- Connect different internal and external systems through APIs and webhooks.
- Build lightweight scripts and internal solutions using Python and/or JavaScript.
- Work with GitHub to maintain, document and version solutions.
- Deploy lightweight internal tools and applications using platforms such as Vercel.
- Explore how AI and new technologies can automate or improve existing business processes.

Improve Business Performance

- Define KPIs to understand whether processes are performing as expected.
- Analyze operational data to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies and opportunities.
- Develop hypotheses around performance issues and test potential solutions.
- Continuously iterate on existing processes based on data and business feedback.
- Build simple dashboards, monitoring systems and alerts to make operational performance visible.

Work Cross-Functionally

- Partner with Operations, Sales, Product, Finance and other teams to understand their challenges and build scalable solutions.
- Act as the bridge between business needs and technical implementation.
- Document processes clearly so they can be understood, maintained and scaled by other teams.
- Challenge existing ways of working and propose simpler, faster and more scalable alternatives.





Technical Toolkit You don't need to be an expert in every tool below, but you should be technically curious and comfortable learning and working with technology.

The Perfect Match: What you bring

- Fluent in Italian and English (both written and verbal).
- Background in top-tier consulting and/or startups/scale-ups in high-growth environments.
- A builder mindset: hands-on, proactive, comfortable with ambiguity, and biased toward getting things done rather than just diagnosing problems.
- Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without formal authority.
- A university degree in a field related to the role (e.g. Industrial/Management Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, Economics, or a related quantitative/technical discipline); an international Master's/MBA is a plus.
