/ph3Role Purpose /h3pAs Electrical Engineer based in Fredericia, Denmark you will be responsible for the engineering activities on a specific construction project.
The activities associated with the project will vary and will be agreed with the Project Manager on an ongoing basis.
You will co-ordinate the technical design with the onsite installation through to the successful commissioning ensuring that the Kirby Group vision, mission values are fulfilled.
/ph3Electrical Engineer Responsibilities /h3ulliComplete electrical design review to identify design gaps and deviations or contradictions in the specifications.
/liliValidate cable sizing and make recommendations as appropriate.
/liliEnsure that technical assessments are completed as required and technical issues are resolved without delay.
/liliCompile and issue electrical technical submittals.
/liliManage submittals through the approvals process,

track procurement and delivery of electrical equipment and complete the receipt verification process once the equipment is delivered.
/liliAttend record regular supply chain meetings to ensure that progress is monitored maintained within the overall construction programme.
/liliUpdate and record progress on system trackers which are fully aligned with the construction schedule.
/liliReview the electrical installation with the BIM team to ensure the design is constructible and that there is adequate space for installation and maintenance of all equipment and cabling.
/liliLiaise with the design team supply chain to ensure correct operation of the plant on site successful handover.
/liliComplete electrical system walk-downs to ensure systems are compliant with specifications and drawings.
/liliCompile test pack, FTOP's and OMs and present for approval.
/liliManage specialist vendors during the commissioning process to ensure timely completion of their works.
/liliUndertake client training in line with agreed training plan.
/liliLead Engineering Design and Design Management tasks on Projects as part of an integrated project team, /liliStrong technical ability in all aspects of Electrical Engineering Services Design, /liliProactive with a strong ability to work independently and without supervision, /liliDesign and specification of Electrical Engineering Solutions to current regulations and design standards, /liliWorking directly with clients and project engineers to define project requirements and develop technical solutions, /liliDevelop and agree design processes and design deliverables, /liliLead Pre-Construction Engineering activities and the production of information including, design development, construction details, services coordination, technical submittals, sub-contracts, etc, /liliAssist in the continual improvement of the QA System and execute project reviews,

/liliProvide technical support to the estimating, procurement, commercial, marketing and project bid teams, /liliProvide off site technical support to construction teams on projects, /li /ulh3Necessary requirement of the Electrical Engineer /h3ulli3rd level Qualification in Electrical Engineering / Building Services Engineering.
/liliExperience with both LV and MV systems primarily in building services and data centre environments.
/liliKnowledge experience of current Design Guides, Codes of Practice, ETCI and or BS**** Regulations, Building Regulations, EN Standards and IEC Standards, etc, /liliExperience in Amtech, Dialux, Adobe Pro, Autodesk AutoCAD 2D and MS Office Suite Software, /liliExperience of client, vendor contractor interaction management, /liliSignificant Project engineering experience of 7 years+ ideally in a construction environment.
/liliPrevious record of delivering Electrical projects (Commercial, Industrial, pharma, data centre type projects) /liliCommercial Awareness /liliCapability of walking down electrical systems to ensure compliance with specification /liliExperience developing technical submittals, completing technical reviews and assessments.
