/p pThe bSenior Android Software Engineer /b will be primarily responsible for coordinating and overseeing the development, enhancement, and maintenance of bDigital Products /b, ensuring alignment with business needs.
This role will focus on providing strong technical leadership and guidance, fostering collaboration across teams, including external vendors and offshore resources, in alignment with architectural standards and best practices.
/p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liContribute to the architectural definition and implementation, ensuring technical consistency and guiding mobile Android software engineers within the squad to adhere to design principles and standards /li liDevelop, enhance, and maintain core mobile Android components of the Digital Product landscape, while performing code reviews and providing strong technical coordination /li liCoordinate and oversee development activities, ensuring quality, and compliance with SDLC best practices, while actively collaborating with all other engineers.
/li liInteract with the business stakeholders to understand the business needs and translate them in technical stories /li liPromote innovation initiatives by exploring and evaluating new technologies, creating prototypes and proof-of-concepts, and mentoring external teams to adopt innovative solutions effectively.

/li /ul h3Core Competencies and Qualifications /h3 ul liSolid software engineering expertise and hands-on experience with Kotlin /li liExperience in unit and integration tests frameworks /li liTrack record of developing scalable and performant mobile App Android in real-world environments /li liGood awareness of best modern practices on software development lifecycle /li liExcellent communication and coordination skills to work with distributed teams and external vendors.
/li liDemonstrated ability to communicate complex technical information in a condensed manner to various stakeholders verbally and in writing /li liAbility to adapt to changing contexts, including learning new programming languages and frameworks quickly /li liExperience with performance of mobile application /li liStrong interest in exploring AI technologies and agentic AI applications, positioning oneself as a key contributor in identifying and shaping potential use cases within Sky's digital ecosystem.
