ph3Job Description /h3pCROWN Packaging Manufacturing Italy S.r.l. is seeking a skilled Cans Mechanical Technician to maintain and repair high-speed can manufacturing machinery, ensuring optimal production efficiency and product quality.
/ph3Job Responsibilities /h3ulliPerform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair on a variety of mechanical equipment used in can manufacturing, including presses, bodymakers, trimmers, flangers, and seaming machines.
/liliDiagnose and resolve mechanical breakdowns promptly to minimize downtime and production losses.
/liliRead and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics to understand equipment operation and repair procedures.
/liliExecute adjustments and calibrations to machinery to maintain specified operating parameters and product quality standards.
/liliCollaborate with production personnel and other technicians to identify and address recurring mechanical issues.
/liliMaintain accurate records of maintenance activities, parts used, and equipment performance.
/liliAdhere to all safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe working environment.




/liliParticipate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
/liliAssist with the installation and commissioning of new machinery as required.
/li /ulh3Job Qualifications /h3ulliProven experience as a Mechanical Technician, preferably within a high-volume manufacturing environment, such as can making, metal forming, or packaging.
/liliStrong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and lubrication principles.
/liliAbility to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
/liliProficiency in using a variety of hand and power tools, as well as precision measuring instruments.
/liliExcellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
/liliAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced production setting.
/liliStrong communication skills, both written and verbal.
/liliFlexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
/liliFormal technical education or vocational training in mechanical engineering or a related field is highly desirable.
