/ph3Role Summary /h3pThe Finished Goods Planner manages production scheduling and capacity planning to ensure the efficient and timely manufacturing of cans and ends.
Responsible for aligning demand requirements with production capabilities, the role optimizes resource utilization, inventory levels, and service performance.
Collaborates closely with manufacturing, procurement, sales teams and the warehouse keepers, participating to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning accuracy, flexibility, and operational efficiency.
/ph3Production Scheduling and Execution /h3pDevelop and maintain detailed short-term production schedules to ensure optimal sequencing and efficient use of production resources.
/ppMonitor limited warehouse capacity and maximize rotation index of goods.
/ppManage work orders (raising, scheduling, closing).

/ppAlign daily and weekly production plans with demand priorities, capacity constraints, and material availability.
/ppMonitor schedule adherence and proactively adjust plans in response to changes in demand, disruptions, or operational constraints.
/ppCollaborate closely with production, maintenance, and quality teams to ensure smooth execution of the production schedule.
/ppIdentify bottlenecks and support actions to improve line efficiency, throughput, and overall responsiveness.
/ppArrange for transportation the sister plant in case of interco flows.
/ph3Materials and Inventory Coordination /h3pCheck supply of components and lacquered/printed sheets by coordinating closely with MPC scheduler, sister plants or suppliers.
/ppMonitor stock levels for critical materials and proactively escalates potential shortages impacting production.
/ppSupport inventory optimization by balancing production needs with stock levels, minimizing excess and obsolescence.
/ph3Planning Support and Continuous Improvement /h3pMaintain accuracy of planning data in ERP systems (lead times, production versions, scheduling parameters).
/ppSupport the Supply Chain manager and the Team in improving scheduling processes, tools, and data accuracy.

/ppContribute to the stabilization and standardization of production scheduling routines and best practices.
/ppTrack and report key scheduling KPIs (e.g., schedule adherence, service level, production efficiency).
/ph3Qualifications /h3pQualification required by the applicant University degree (ideally Industrial Engineering or equivalent, but other degrees can be considered based on the profile).
/ppSpecialized knowledge / experience 0-3 years of experience in supply chain (preferably gained within the manufacturing sector).
/ppAdvanced use of MS Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
/ppKnowledge of ERP logics (experience with Oracle ERP will be a plus).
/ppFluent Italian and English; Other European languages will be a plus.
