ppNidec Conversion is looking for a skilled professional to join our Electrical Design Team in Montebello Site.
/p pIn this role, you will work closely with our electrical engineers, serving as the go-to expert for all mechanical aspects of our projects.
/p pYour focus will be developing mechanical solutions for electrical panels, containers, and skids, as well as handling the installation engineering for various electrical systems.
/p h3PRINCIPLE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES /h3 ul liOn a day-to-day basis, you will create 3D models to optimize equipment layouts and maximize space efficiency.
/li liYou will be responsible for issuing 2D and 3D General Assembly drawings for clients and suppliers, while also managing relationships with external mechanical consultants and equipment vendors.
/li liA core part of your job will involve finding smart ways to integrate electrical components into panels and fit equipment into containers.
/li liWhen needed, you will also draft manufacturing drawings for structural carpentry.
/li liAdditionally, you will analyze thermal management of electric components, implementing solutions that can involve ventilation, air conditioning and liquid cooling systems.




/li liYou will also study outdoor solutions to guarantee the right protection degree, painting cycles, and corrosion resistance solutions.
/li /ul h3TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS /h3 pA willingness to travel briefly, both nationally and internationally, is required.
/p h3REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE /h3 ul liBachelor's degree in mechanical engineering (preferred) or high school diploma.
/li liExperience in power systems/electric cabinets and assemblies design is required, along with basic knowledge of material properties and thermal management technologies.
/li liA good knowledge of Microsoft Office, mechanical CAD software (Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD) is required.
/li liBasic knowledge of thermal and CFD simulation (Flotherm or equivalent) are an additional advantage.
