This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior / Lead Mechanical Engineer to play a key role in shaping technically advanced, high-performance facilities that support the rapidly growing digital infrastructure sector.

/p pAs part of the Milan Building Services Engineering team, you will work closely with mechanical, electrical, structural,
and sustainability specialists to develop integrated engineering solutions from early-stage concept design through to detailed design, construction support, and project completion.

/p h3Key Responsibilities: /h3 ul liLead the mechanical engineering design and technical delivery of mission-critical and multidisciplinary building projects /li liManage projects through all stages including feasibility studies, concept design, detailed design, tender support, and construction phase services /li liAct as the lead mechanical engineering contact for clients, consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders /li liDevelop and oversee the design of complex mechanical building systems including: /li liHVAC systems /li liChilled water and cooling systems /li liVentilation and smoke control systems /li liHeating systems /li liHydronic and pipework systems /li liSustainable and energy-efficient building solutions /li liMechanical infrastructure for mission-critical environments /li liCoordinate closely with electrical, structural, architectural, and BIM teams to ensure integrated project delivery /li liLead technical reviews,
design coordination meetings, and engineering workshops /li liSupport the delivery of low-carbon and sustainable engineering strategies across projects /li liMentor and provide technical guidance to junior and intermediate engineers /li liContribute to resource planning, project scheduling, and quality assurance processes /li liEnsure designs comply with local and international standards, client specifications, and industry best practice /li liAssist in identifying innovative technologies and engineering approaches to improve project performance and efficiency /li liBuild and maintain strong client relationships through effective communication and technical leadership /li /ul h3Candidate Requirements: /h3 ul liBachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical, Building Services, or Energy Engineering /li liChartered engineer or working towards chartership /li liExtensive experience in mechanical building services engineering /li liProven experience working on Data Centre, Mission Critical, or Industrial Building projects /li liStrong technical understanding of HVAC and mechanical building systems design /li liDemonstrated experience leading multidisciplinary engineering projects /li liAbility to manage projects from conceptual design through to construction and commissioning stages /li liExperience working in BIM/Revit environments; knowledge of parametric design tools would be advantageous /li liStrong understanding of sustainable building design principles and energy-efficient systems /li liFluent written and spoken Italian and English /li /ul /p #J-*****-Ljbffr
