All about the role
Within the Global Purchasing Organization, you will lead the European strategy for Metal Components, partnering with Product Line and Business Area Purchasing teams to drive sourcing excellence, innovation,



sustainability and value creation. In this highly visible role, you will collaborate with global stakeholders and key suppliers to shape the future of our products and supply chain

What you'll do
As Europe Category Manager – Metal Components, you will be responsible for developing and deploying category strategies, managing strategic supplier relationships and driving business results through sourcing, negotiations and supplier development initiatives.
In detail, you will:
- Own the European category strategy for assigned metal components and materials.
- Lead supplier selection, sourcing decisions and annual negotiations.
- Drive Value Based Sourcing initiatives and supplier early involvement in new programs.
- Promote supplier development activities focused on quality, productivity, automation and innovation.
- Perform cost modelling and identify opportunities for simplification and complexity re
