Role Description The Social Media Manager (SMM) is a full-time hybrid role based in Florence, with the flexibility to work from home on agreed days. This role is responsible for planning, creating, and publishing content across social media platforms to enhance brand visibility and engagement. The SMM will manage the editorial calendar, monitor performance metrics, and adjust strategies based on analytics and audience insights. Daily activities include community management (responding to comments and messages),
coordinating with internal teams to align campaigns with business goals, and staying current on social media trends and platform updates. The SMM will also support paid social campaigns, ensure consistent brand voice, and contribute to broader digital marketing initiatives.
Qualifications
- Ability to develop and execute social media strategies, including campaign planning, content calendars, and audience growth tactics.
Confident filming and editing video for social media, working solo from shot to post. Comfortable with vertical formats, natural light and same-day turnaround.
- Strong skills in content creation for social platforms (copywriting, basic visual content coordination, and storytelling) with attention to brand voice and consistency.
- Experience in social media analytics and reporting, including interpreting data to optimize performance and inform future campaigns.
