The role of the Resort Assistant Supervisor is an integral and varied role and assists in every aspect of the Interski operations. It includes duties/tasks conducted by the Resort Assistant plus some additional duties/tasks of a team leader which include creating a rota, briefings with your team, supporting your team and ensuring your team are performing well.

We require our Resort Assistant Supervisor to be an all-rounder, happy to be client facing and just as happy to be working in the background. We require our Resort Assistant Supervisor to be flexible and adaptable as changes often occur when working in an operational environment and will need to have a can do, friendly, proactive, and positive outlook.

You MUST hold a full valid driver’s licence with driving experience and must be willing to drive a manual vehicle, 2 seater to 9 seater vehicles. Remember, you would be working in the Alps therefore you must be prepared to drive in all weather conditions.

Team leaders are expected to remain available to both their team and clients at all times, primarily via phone, to provide support and guidance should any issues arise in resort, attending in person if the situation requires it, regardless of the time of day or night.

Given the seasonal nature of the role, team members are expected to work up to a five-month period with one scheduled day off per week. The workdays can be long and physically demanding, often in varying weather conditions. As such, we value individuals who demonstrate resilience, a positive mindset, and a proactive approach to maintaining their mental and physical wellbeing throughout the season.

REQUIREMENTS

Criminal Record Disclosure / DBS / Police Check - ESSENTIAL

Team leader experience – DESIRABLE

Over 21 years old – DESIRABLE

Driver’s licence & willingness to drive manual vehicles in resort (2-seater/5-seater/9-seater) – ESSENTIAL

Fluent in English - ESSENTIAL

Willingness to learn Italian/French (Aosta Valley) – DESIRABLE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Attend weekly valley meeting

Creation of the weekly rota through liaising with all Supervisors to establish the Resort Assistant requirements from all departments

Daily briefings with your team

Ensuring your team is carrying out duties/tasks





Supporting your team

Ski Hire

Assisting in ski hire on arrivals day (fitting boots, poles, skis etc)

Assisting in ski hire in the mornings and afternoons (when clients come through the building)

Ski Hire shift (normally one shift per week in the ski hire building and tasks include pre fitting, cleaning, sorting etc)

Assist the rental wear department in the preparation, delivery, collection and turning over rental wear (ski jackets, ski trousers, helmets)

On Hill

Welcoming clients at the gondola station & advising clients to keep safe when crossing the piste

Liaise with Snowsports Operations Supervisor and oversee school arrivals/departures to check out / check in area

Responding to WhatsApp whilst on the hill which could be for a change of equipment.

Assistance at check in in the afternoons

Movements/Transfers

Move clients and staff within the Aosta Valley

Provide airport transfers from/to Turin, Milan & Geneva airports

Ad hoc requirement to attend après ski activities such as ice skating, disco and presentation runarounds

Assisting clients in the medical centre if there has been an accident/injury and ensure relevant documentation is completed

Other

Delivery of a welcome meeting to arriving holiday clients (adult and family groups)

Ad hoc requirement to cover days off for other staff members in the role of a schools & college co-ordinator (rep for a school group)

On Call Night - on call from 17:00-08:00 for any accidents/injuries or any operational requirements that may take place

STAFF PACKAGE

Contribution towards travel expenses at the start and end of the season

Training programme delivered at the start of the season

Accommodation (shared room in shared apartment or hotel)

Option to live out and an allowance of £500.00 per month offered

Meals (lunch provided during the season)

Uniform (ski jacket, ski trousers, gilet and polo tops)

Lift Pass

Aosta/Pila staff will receive a season pass for Pila, Crevacol & Cogne

If required to work in another resort, a daily or 5-day lift pass will be provided

Equipment (skis/poles/boards/boots if required)

Insurance (travel, medical and public liability)

One day off per week

Pre-agreed time off during the season (non-peak weeks only)

Team Engagement Programme (contractor of the month and social events)

Competitive wages of £1700.00 pcm working on a contractor basis

One (Aosta based)

Our tempo pieno Resort Assistant Supervisor is based in the Aosta/Pila the work will be carried out in Aosta Valley with ad hoc requirements to work in Courmayeur, La Thuile, Gressoney & Bardonecchia.

The Resort Assistants play a key role in a dynamic and varied position that could be ideal for those seeking a multifaceted experience. Responsibilities include working in ski hire, providing on-hill support, assisting clients with resort logistics such as medical centre visits or hospital transfers, airport transfers, and in-resort transportation, as well as preparing, delivering, and collecting rental equipment as well as attendance at après ski events.

The role of Resort Supervisor is to oversee the daily off mountain and resort specific operations in La Thuile & Courmayeur. This will involve leading the resort team comprised of School & College Co-ordinators, Holidays Co-ordinator & Resort Assistants and being the main point of contact for the resort team, group leaders, coach drivers and suppliers. Works closely with the other Supervisor in resort.
