NPDI Project Manager Products and Solutions - Engineering Manager
In this role you will lead end-to-end NPDI-driven product development projects from inception to launch, coordinating global and regional initiatives within the Thermal Management business. You will guide cross-functional teams across Engineering, Product Management, Manufacturing and more to meet scope, schedule and cost targets. You’ll operate in a complex, international environment, driving continuous improvement and ensuring alignment with Vertiv’s strategic priorities. - Lead end-to-end project management for new product development and engineered-to-order customizations
- Ensure adherence to the Corporate NPDI Process and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, resources and risks
- Coordinate cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, operations, procurement, quality, logistics, marketing, sales and leadership
- Monitor project progress,
budget utilization and KPIs; report to stakeholders and senior management
- Identify and mitigate risks and issues affecting timelines, scope or quality; implement recovery actions
- Foster cross-functional collaboration and a culture of teamwork to meet aggressive deadlines
- Collaborate with Product Management to define requirements and with Engineering to validate solutions within target cost
- Conduct post-launch analysis and feedback collection to drive iterative improvements
- Provide resource planning input and align project objectives with company strategic priorities
- Navigate complex international relationships and communicate with stakeholders at multiple levels
- Drive continuous improvement, innovation and efficiency in the product development process
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field (Master degree preferred)
- Minimum 3 years' experience as a Project/Program Manager in a structured organization
