2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsGet AI-powered advice on this job and more exclusive features.Direct message the job poster from g2 RecruitmentConnecting top talent in Aerospace and DefenceCurrently, we are seeking a skilled and experienced System Safety Engineer with a background in the defense/military sector to join our client.The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with military-grade systems, a deep understanding of functional safety standards, and the ability to handle classified documentation in accordance with national and international security protocols.- Participate in defining and implementing functional safety requirements, complying with standards like IEC 61508, MIL-STD-882, and ISO 26262 (adapted to the defense domain).- Collaborate with system, hardware, and software teams to ensure safety requirements are correctly interpreted and implemented.- Contribute to hazard analyses, risk assessments (HARA), and other safety studies throughout the system lifecycle.- Develop and maintain safety-related documentation such as safety plans, technical safety concepts,
