Data Engineer – Freelance/Contractor

- Contribute to the design, implementation, and maintenance of data infrastructure for ingestion, orchestration, and transformation
- Build and maintain Moneyfarm's analytical data models, ensuring they are performant, scalable, and reliable
- Contribute to implementation and deployment of machine learning and advanced analytics solutions
- Reconcile vast amounts of raw data ingested from different sources into purposeful and meaningful aggregates
- Work closely with Acquisition team data analyst, data scientist, software engineers, marketing specialist and product manager
- Produce artifacts that can be consumed by both human agents and AI tools
- Build a strong understanding of the marketing acquisition context and generate business value through data
Requirements
- 3+ years of relevant work experience in data engineering roles
- BSc or higher degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related discipline
- Experience in fintech / wealth management nice to have
- Deep proficiency in SQL and Python
- Deep proficiency with Airflow and DBT
- Strong experience with Redshift; BigQuery is a plus
- Experience with AWS and familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform)
- Familiarity with conversion tracking and digital marketing data stack is a strong plus, including Adform, Adjust, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, and Rudderstack
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including with non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to translate business requirements into well-designed data solutions
- Comfortable working in iterative environments while balancing quality and delivery
- Fluency in English is essential
- Must work in the office twice a week for team alignment
- Freelance or fixed-term 12-month contract
- CV must be uploaded in English
