Join NXP in Catania to help shape high-performance MCU/SoC verification for AI at the Edge. You will work with a cross-functional team spanning analog to SOC design, driving robust verification flows at world-class pace. You’ll build and run verification environments, address corner cases, and help ensure quality across the product lifecycle. This role offers a chance to impact real-world edge devices powering autonomous home, industrial automation, and personal electronics. You will collaborate with design, architecture, and software teams to continuously improve verification methodologies.
- Develop and implement verification environments and test benches using SystemVerilog and UVM
- Create verification plans outlining key functionalities and corner cases
- Develop, execute, and debug test cases to verify designs against specifications
- Analyze simulation results, identify discrepancies, and work with design engineers to resolve issues
- Maintain verification collateral including assertions, coverage models, and scripts
- Participate in verification reviews and improve methodologies and processes
- Collaborate with design, architecture, and software teams throughout product development
- Document verification strategies, plans, and results
- 2+ years of proven experience in digital IC design verification
- Strong proficiency in SystemVerilog and UVM
- Experience with Questa, VCS, or Xcelium
- Solid understanding of digital design principles and architectures
- Scripting skills in Python, Perl, or Tcl
- Familiarity with metric-driven and assertion-based verification
- Excellent problem-solving and attention to detail
- Strong communication and team collaboration; fluent in English
